Was James and Samantha helpful during the booking process? Very much so..very apt to responding to emails and even the few phone conversations we had to have...i was very confident that everything would be great the day of my wedding. GREAT JOB!!!!!

I was very nervous about finding a DJ service for my wedding. I was not sure what to ask, or what exactly I was looking for. After interviewing MANY other DJ services, my husband and I were getting very discouraged. We felt that noone understood what we were looking for, or wanted to be a part of this special day with us. That is until we had our first meeting with Samantha and James. They listened to us gave us so much helpful information and ideas, that we would have never of came up with on our own. James was wonderful with the crowd at our wedding. When no one was going out on the dance floor, I was getting upset. James started playing games with them and teaching new dances. Before I knew it there was a whole bunch of people that came out of their shells and got on the dance floor. I also can not say enough about Samantha. She helped me through so many BRIDEZILLA MELTDOWNS!. I can honeslty say that I might not have made it through the day with out her help. Every problem I had ,she had a solution. In my opinion they go above and beyond what a normal DJ would. I will and have told other people about their services. They also provided the minister to perform out cermony. If your looking for quality, quantiy, and yet trying to keep it budget friendly, look no further. Michigna DJ Service is the dj service for your wedding. James and Samantha joined us for our wedding in Frankenmuth on July 4, 2009. They did both my pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and provided OUTSTANDING service. I liked the fact that I could look at my account and have access to my account at any time. They provided me with checklist and worksheets online for things that I NEVER even thought about!! They even worked with my brother-n-law so he could perform during the reception. I can't say enough good things. Every girl dreams of this day from the time she is little, we want it to be perfect. I researched over 30 DJ's and Michigan DJ Service was the ONLY one who could meet my budget, stay the entire day & evening, provide awsome lighting effects, returned my calls and e-mails very promptly, and allowed me to pick over 80 songs for the ceremony & reception, and didin't miss one. I was provided with a cd of all the music for the ceremony so we could have it for the dinner rehersal. Lastly, they were the only company that allowed me to meet with the actual DJ who was to perform for the wedding, prior to the event. NO REGRETS! AWSOME!! PROFESSIONAL!! Thank you again! Just wanted to pass along that our DJ, Phil, was absolutely perfect! Reunion crowds are a bit different as everyone wants to talk, not dance. Phil did a great job with music selection as well as crowd participation. In addition, he basically did anything he could do to help, including moving tables, screens, etc. His services were greatly appreciated and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dear James and Samantha,

            Chris and I want to thank you so much for all you have done. Bill Vogel was our D.J. and he was fantastic!!!! We were so impressed, so were all of our guests. Bill was upbeat and so much fun, we highly recommend him to anyone. There were so many kids there and he played music to get them up there dancing.
             Our Minister was Scott Mason and we were just as impressed with him. Scott made the ceremony so heart warming and just hearing him speak made me cry. Scott is a wonderful man!!

Just wanted to thank you so much for such a beautiful night. I was so impressed by you guys and will definitely be recommending you.

They played all the songs I wanted to hear, and really gaged the reactions and dancing of our wedding guests. We also had the upgraded lights and they really made everything that much more fun.

They had exactly the right amount of interaction that I had requested, making announcements.

I really liked the range of music played: rock, waltzes, polkas, alternative, and new hits. I really didn't have a favorite.

Played the right mix of music for all of our guests, which ranged from 3-95! They also used all sorts of lights, which kept my grandparents at the reception until the end! They enjoyed the combination of lights, music and the people dancing. Samantha even asked them if there was a song that they'd like to hear, and made sure to play their favorite Glenn Miller song.

Just the right amount. We asked ahead of time that only announcements were to be made, because we didn't want anything over the top or announcer-like. They kept things going with the music they played, and since I didn't give them much input, I can't even take credit for the awesome songs they played for us! ;)

Our first dance...I loved the introduction and the lights they used for it, it made it even more special! Even though our song was short, we felt like we were all alone on the dance floor, it was truly memorable for us!

They played all the greatest 80s dance music and techno! All my friends thought they were the best DJ service they ever had seen. They were both easy going and really really nice!

The Djs were a blast. They did everything right! The lighting was great! sound blew me away.

There were too many songs to come up with one. I loved the Flock of Segals "I Ran" Kid Rock. "when you love someone" I loved the cha cha slide and the cuben hustle. I never had dance soo much in my life! IT ROCKED!!!

It seemed like as they played different songs they noticed the crowd's reaction and used that to figure out what songs to play next. Everybody, from the youngsters to the grandparents enjoyed the music and commented on it later.

Not too terribly much, made neccessary anouncements, said a few nice word to the guests. I wasn't looking for a cheesy crowd interation DJ anyway. They were professional, not cheesy.

Too many to choose! Just when I thought "Oh, that song was great!" they'd play another that I comlpetely forgot about that I loved too!

Shawn and I thought you guys were really good DJ service. You arrived on time and early like you said. The equipment was really amazing, The lighting blew me away. The sound was perfect. . It was perfect for our wedding. You guys have really made the wedding a hit. With out you guys the wedding would of been lame. You both had played all the songs we had our list and also took request for the guest. The music tool list was really helpful for what type of music we were looking for. You both were very easy to work with during our wedding process. Shawn and I cant say thank you enough. Over all this was the best DJ Service that Shawn and I ever witness in all the weddings we have ever been too. Thanks for the professional services. The 2 person DJ Team was early, had everything set to go before the facility was ready to open the doors. The had every song we requested and were kept everyone involved without being cheesy.

Michigan DJ Service kept our guests dancing all night. You guys had just the right songs to keep the party moving for everyone. The free online event planning tool made it easy for us to pick out songs for our special night.

You guys made our party. Although we hired another DJ to do live DJ mixing, your music selections got our guests out on the dance floor. Your Bose Sound system was incredible. I can't believe how crisp and clear the music was with the incredible punch of bass we got from the Bose Sub of yours. We will be calling you guys next year to find our your availability before we book a hall for our next holiday party here.

I had a party with your dj Kyle on Saturday night. everything went perfectly. Kyle was there on time , early in fact. which was fine cause I had to sit there for a couple hours anyway while all the kids for the party were being picked up by other adults. the weather was bad and I understood his early arrival. better early then late ya know. anyway, the sound was perfect of course, Bose never disappoints. Ryan, the guy who the party was for, loved the music, so the online planning tool obviously helped him out. he also played requests through out the night. he even played a guns n roses disk for me while we were sitting there alone waiting for the people to get there. i had to get a dose of the music i like before i had to endure a night of techno and rap. but.. that's what Ryan wanted to hear so it all turned out perfectly. absolutely no complaints or concerns on my part, nor did i hear of any negativities concerning the DJ. he was very friendly and offered to help us clean up as the night ended. so I will certainly keep your company in mind for any future gatherings we may have. it was a good price with a good dj...what more could anyone ask for.. thanks again....jay
